JUG TAI HISTORY

    The first Team of the Association which established from Bill Drougas was the Bill Drougas Martial Arts in the year 1983 formed for the four styles that he practiced Vichara Tai Jug Fu Taekwon Do, Kyokushin Kai, Five Animals Kung Fu. In the same year there were only ten members together in the same association. The membership certificate was a full colour handmade paper and is given to the first members after a traditional training on the mountain and after a traditional test,  in Joannina, Greece where Bill Drougas was An Academic student in the University studying Physics in the Physics-Mathematics School of the local University. This Assn does not exist now. It is only a historic team. The Jug Tai is the first official name of the Association for the members of the Bill Drougas Kung Fu style formed in the year 1992 as Jug Tai Kung Fu Association. After years passed the Sijo Bill Drougas’ Kung fu style became a well known style in the world of Martial Arts. Many Grand masters recognized this Style making this more and more popular .Many Masters and Grand Masters received Honorary membership also. At the same time was formed the Drougas World Traditional martial Arts Styles (WTMAS) because the styles that he  trained at that period were  Taekwon Do, Hapki Do, and Kung Fu which has members until today. Many Masters and Grand Masters after receiving membership made the name of the Association very big worldwide. So in the Year 1997 Sijo Bill Drougas from Arta, Greece after coming back from USA receiving his first Hall of Fame in the Universal studios from WHFSC organization , teaching in the Grand Masters Seminar and meeting many Grand Masters from all over the world decided to establish the very big today Association, the World Jug Tai Association (W.J.T.A.). The meaning of the name is "the Harmony and the strong associated members". He decided to be a Black belts Association for the Martial Arts. A little later The President and Founder GMR Bill Drougas decided to establish the World Jug Tai Head Society (WJTHS) as a division for the Heads and Founders of any Association or Style in the World with big success until today. Every year the WJTA gets bigger and many Masters from all over the World receive their membership induction. In the year 1999 the Association received A-Class Quality Recognition Certification from the Board of Regents World Wide and in the same year the Prestigious Organization WMAHOF from Ohio USA presented a Quality Recognition Plaque to the Head Founder Bill Drougas for the WJTA all over the world as an A-Class recognition Organization. many other Organizations received membership from the WJTA and also many Grandmasters and Founders. All the Associations with their presidents gave the recognition to Bill Drougas as the Official President of the Assn . In the year 1999 the assn received a TM recognition. Today has members in all over the world and the International Office is the Official Body is under the focus of the GMR. Bill Drougas. The world Headquarters is located in the beautiful town of Arta  in the west Greece where the Founder was born.
