WORLD DOU MOO KWAN DO ASSOCIATION

The WDKDA is the official sister Association for the Korean styles of martial arts and our unique self defense system of Dou Kwan Do
This association accepts martial artists for membership with the affiliation of the WJTA Korean styles and recognizes Students , Instructors, Masters and Grandmasters in this official Kwan association for an annual membership or a life time membership.
Also an official School certification offered from the association.

 

DOU KWAN DO
SELF DEFENSE STYLE

This is the official Grand Master Bill Drougas’ self defense style. This style include self defense techniques from various styles and is a most effective style, including techniques with empty hands , weapons, combinations, free sparing and man to man close self defense. There eight levels before black belt and nine black belt levels of Dan from Instructor to Grandmaster Degree.

The degrees in Dou Kwan Do are as follows:
9 Kup   White belt
8 Kup  yellow
7 Kup  yellow  one stripe
6 Kup   green
5 Kup   green one stripe
4 Kup   blue
3 Kup   blue one stripe
2 Kup   brown
1 Kup brown one stripe
And 1st Dan Instructor up to 9th Dan Black Belt Master

Today the World Dou Kwan Do style offers membership world wide and the official recognition from the HDQS to establish a new school in your area under the affiliation and the recognition of the world organization WDKDA and the World Jug Tai Association of Martial Arts.
